Sundar Pichai announced Android O officially at the IO 17 later last month, opening up the beta version to developers. The new Nokia caretakers HMD Global confirmed that Nokia’s new line of Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and 6 will get Android O update once its released.
When is it launching?
The highly awaited line from Nokia – is set to finally launch in India on June 13. All the phones will come pre loaded with Android 7.0 out of the box. But in a recent announcement the company has promised an Android O update. This comes as a big relief for people looking to buy the Nokia Android range. As Android O comes with a lot of security and utility updates.
The prices of the phones haven’t been confirmed but the Nokia 3 will cost you somewhere around Rs 10,000 while the Nokia 5 will be close to Rs 13,000 and the high end Nokia 6 close to Rs 18,000. Looking at the current options available in India HMD global may look to fine tune the prices of their phones to match the competitors.
Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch display with 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage. Powered with Snapdragon 430 processor and 3000 mAh non-removable battery. And Rear camera of 16MP f/2.0 and Front: 8MP f/2.0 with Dolby atmos audio.
Nokia 5 is a 5.2-inch Corning Gorilla glass HD display has a resolution of 1280×720. Powered by octa-core Snapdragon 430 and a fingerprint sensor has an internal storage of 16GB and expandable up to 128GB. With 13 MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
Nokia 3 comes with a 5-inch display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The camera on the Nokia 3 is 8MP both on the front and rear.
